Things To Know Here's a list of some things you should · The leadership and management skills learned while in ROTC will enable cadets to succeed in whatever career they pursue. Northeastern University ROTC currently has cadets who major in everything from Fine Arts and Political Science to Physical Therapy and Mechanical Engineering. · In addition to the national scholarship program, on-campus scholarships are also available to qualified university applicants. · ROTC cadets are not "in the Army." Non-scholarship MSI and MSII cadets (typically freshman and sophomores, respectively) may withdraw without incurring any military service-obligation. · ROTC does not interfere with cadets' regular college program, but in fact it complements campus life. Many cadets in the Liberty Battalion choose to participate in other on-campus programs, such as varsity and club sports, student government, and other student organizations of the many available at NU. · ROTC is not a major, but a series of elective courses. |
